Privacy policy for our games
This policy covers the games for Android that we make and publish on Google Play. It says what they collect (nothing), what they keep on the phone, and what passes between a game and the Learning Breaks app.
1. Who we are
These games are made and published by Eynon Software, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we", "us"). You can contact us about this policy, or about a child's information, at:

2. The games this covers
- Bentley's Puzzle Games (com.eynon.puzzlegames)
- Bentley's Board Games (com.eynon.boardgames)
- Bentley's Garden (com.eynon.shapefitgarden)
- Bentley's Mini Golf (com.eynon.minigolf)
- Bentley's Crate Crasher (com.eynon.brickbreaker)
- Bentley Goes Fishing (com.eynon.goesfishing)
3. The short version
- The games collect nothing about you or your child, and send nothing to us or to anyone else.
- They cannot use the internet. None of them asks Android for internet access, so nothing can leave the phone through the game.
- They ask for no permissions. The one permission any of them uses is vibration, in Bentley Goes Fishing, so the phone can buzz when a fish bites; Android allows it without asking you, and it gives the game no information.
- There are no accounts and no sign-in.
- No third-party ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising identifier.
- No in-app purchases.
4. What stays on the phone
Each game saves, on the phone only:
- your progress: levels reached, stars, and a game in progress so you can carry on later;
- your settings, such as sound and reading aloud;
- in two-player games, the name each player types (it stays "Player 1" and "Player 2" unless someone changes it, and it does not need to be a real name). Bentley's Puzzle Games, Bentley's Board Games, Bentley's Garden, Bentley's Mini Golf and Bentley's Crate Crasher have two-player games; Bentley Goes Fishing has no place to type anything.
We never receive any of it. It is removed when the game is uninstalled, or when you clear the game's storage in the phone's settings.
Android has its own backup, which a phone's owner can turn on or off. When it is on, Android may copy a game's saved information to your Google account and move it to a new phone. That copy is kept by Google under Google's terms, and we can't see it. Game by game:
- Bentley's Puzzle Games, Bentley's Board Games, Bentley's Garden and Bentley's Crate Crasher: Android's backup may copy your progress, settings and any player names to your Google account if backup is on.
- Bentley's Mini Golf: Android's backup may copy your progress and settings to your Google account if backup is on. Player names are left out of backups and out of moves to a new phone.
- Bentley Goes Fishing: Android's backup may copy your progress and settings to your Google account if backup is on.
Where a game reads its words aloud, it uses the phone's own text-to-speech engine. Whether that engine uses the internet depends on the phone's settings, not on the game.
5. Learning Breaks
Each game can ask the Learning Breaks app for a learning break: a few quick practice questions in place of an ad. Learning Breaks is a separate app that we also make. If it is not installed on the same phone, the game simply carries on.
When a game asks for a break, this passes between the two apps, on the phone:
- The game sends its request (where in the game the break would go, such as between levels, and the longest it may last) and its publisher id, which identifies the game, not the player.
- The game gets back whether a break happened (finished, ended by the time limit, or didn't really happen) and an opaque token that means nothing to the game.
The game never receives the questions, the answers, whether they were right, or anything about the child. The break opens in the Learning Breaks app's own screen, so none of that enters the game. The game itself never contacts our server or anyone else.
In the part of each game for grown-ups, a button can open Learning Breaks' page on Google Play. That opens the Google Play app or your browser; the game sends nothing with it.
What the Learning Breaks app itself handles, including anything it sends to our server, is described in the Learning Breaks privacy policy.
6. Children
These games are made for children. We don't collect personal information from anyone through them, children included: the games have no way to send it to us. So there is nothing for us to ask a parent's consent for, nothing we share or sell, and nothing on our side to delete. To remove what a game keeps on the phone, uninstall the game.
If you think one of our games has collected information about your child, write to us at teynon@eynon.software and we will look into it.
7. Changes, and contact
If a game changes what it collects or keeps, we will update this page, and the date at the top, before that version of the game is released. Questions about this policy go to us at the address in section 1, or by email to teynon@eynon.software.
